WHAT WE’RE CALLING FOR

COMPETITIVE WAGES

PSAV charges customers a large fee for our labor, but we hardly see any of it. We’re paid less than the industry-average, and there’s no increases for technicians with advanced training. Our highly-skilled work deserves fair compensation.

JOB SECURITY

Technicians at PSAV are ‘employees at will,’ which means that we can be terminated at any time, with no explanation or cause. Talent is not valued or recognized, and PSAV has chosen not to make employee retention a priority because less experienced workers are paid less. Our employment should not be arbitrarily decided.
THE VALUE OF OUR WORK
Technicians are constantly asked to do more, with less, for longer hours. High turnover and excessive vacancies put unfair pressure on the entire workforce. Instead of fixing the problem, PSAV guilts us into helping colleagues with a fabricated teamwork approach. PSAV has put their bottom line ahead of us.
TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Technicians hired by PSAV receive little to no orientation from management. Any training we do receive is provided by our colleagues. There’s no incentive or pathway for career development. Promotions are based on favoritism, not merit. Our career path should be a priority for our employer, too. #B48F05
